The Rev. Dr. Carl Gregg holds a Doctor of Ministry and a Diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction from San Francisco Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy (cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Furman University. He has been the minister at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick (Maryland) since 2012. He is a student in the meditate.io practice community, known in a previous incarnation as Buddhist Geeks.

Carrie Dennison has been teaching yoga for 3 years at several yoga studios around Frederick County. Her specialty is teaching slow flow, gentle, and restorative classes. She creates an environment that is open-minded, fun, and relaxed environment for anyone to practice yoga. As a yoga instructor she inspires her students to become more aware of their mind and body while guiding them how to take that awareness off the mat to living their life to the fullest. Summer's End Picnic: Yoga, Hummus, and Wine

Join Linganore Wincellars and Hippy Chick Hummus on August 25th for a delicious way to relax, unwind and savor the last days of summer!

Carrie Dennison of Self-Care with Carrie will be hosting a 60 minute flow yoga at the vineyard that will include an introduction to using essential oils for relaxation and healing. After yoga, Hippy Chick Hummus will host a plant based picnic in the shade featuring a refreshing and filling spread to include:

  • mediterranean basil pasta salad

  • hummus spread with fresh vegetables

  • local watermelon arugula walnut salad 

Linganore Winecellars will be providing 1 glass of wine per guest (up to a $10 value) with the picnic, paired to compliment the flavors of the meal.

Tickets are $45 per person. 

Must be 21+, please bring your own mat, water and sunscreen!
